New Smart Tech: Microchip Implants in Your Body.

microchip 1

This sounds like something out of the movies – but people are really doing it!

See interview with man in Minneapolis area who has several microchips implanted in his hands and how he uses them to unlock the door of his home, operate his smart phone, control his computer, and more.

The man Tim Shank, is a software engineer.   He’s hoping he will soon not even need to carry a wallet, credit card of car keys.  Even his dogs are microchipped.

It costs about $200 to have one implanted – and doctors don’t do it – but a body piercer will.   As of now, the Minnesota Department of Health does not regulate chip implants.

Is this really the wave of the future?
