This week, liberal loud mouth Bill Maher invited Breibart’s gay reporter Milo Yiannopoulos to appear on his HBO show, Real Time with Bill Maher. The much anticipated interview was supposed to be a hot-headed showdown where a war of words would set the cameras on fire. But it turned out to be more of a love fest as Maher and the gay conservative played nice together.
Milo started the interview by making jokes about his own resistance to hire gay men because “they do too many drugs, have too much sex, and always show up late for work.” He followed up by saying, “They are almost as bad as women.” The audience did not find him funny. He then said he was only kidding.
After a small round of banter, the two men tried hard to make nice as they struggled to find common ground during the 11-minute one on one interview.
The build up to the show was sparked earlier this week after previously scheduled guest Jeremy Scahill dropped out of the show to protest Yiannopoulos’ booking.
Milo is best known for his sharp tongue and brutal rhetoric towards progressive college students. Earlier this month, his speech on immigration was cancelled at UC Berkley after riots broke out to protest his appearance.
