President-elect Donald J. Trump dined on Tuesday evening with his Chief of Staff, Reince Preibus, and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney in New York City. Speculation is the three men spoke about the possibility of Romney being named as Trump’s pick for secretary of state.
The meeting took place at Jean Georges, a three-Michelin star New York City restaurant inside his Trump International Hotel. Trump and Preibus ordered sirloin steak, Romney ordered the lamb chops.
When the meeting was complete Romney met with reporters and sang praise for Trump. His comments on Tuesday are a stark contrast from the comments he made about Trump months ago (see both videos below).
