Mom Calls Out NIKE Over Son’s Murder

Family says Nike should change marketing practices to prevent more killings.

Three years ago, Joshua Woods was on his way home from the mall with his brand new Air Jordan shoes, and was gunned down by four inner city thugs.   He lost his life… over a pair of shoes.

Last Friday, the first of the four attackers was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Joshua Woods mother is launching a campaign, asking Nike to change their marketing practices, to end the limited editions of the Air Jordan shoes.   She believes if the company just made more of them, the killings would stop.
