1-Supreme Court Expected to Rule on Trump’s Tax Records
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court is expected to rule on whether Congress and the Manhattan district attorney can see President Donald Trump’s taxes and other financial records that the president has fought hard to keep private.
The high-stakes dispute, which could be resolved Thursday, tests the balance of power between the White House and Congress, as well as Trump’s claim that he can’t be investigated while he holds office.
It’s unclear, even if Trump loses, how much of the material would become public, since some records would go to a confidential grand-jury investigation in New York and the rest, sought by committees of the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives, could contain highly sensitive information not just about Trump, but also about other members of his family and businesses.
DML: Does anyone outside the liberal media and Democrat Party care about Trump’s tax records? No. Let’s move on.
2-Kayne West says he is done with Trump, is serious about 2020
According to Forbes, the rapper said the following in an interview they held with him Wednesday:
- That he’s running for president in 2020 under a new banner—the Birthday Party—with guidance from Elon Musk and an obscure vice presidential candidate he’s already chosen. “Like anything I’ve ever done in my life,” says West, “I’m doing to win.”
- That he no longer supports President Trump. “I am taking the red hat off, with this interview.”
- That he’s okay with siphoning off Black votes from the Democratic nominee, thus helping Trump. “I’m not denying it, I just told you. To say that the Black vote is Democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy.”
- That he’s never voted in his life.
- That he was sick with Covid-19 in February.
- That he’s suspicious of a coronavirus vaccine, terming vaccines “the mark of the beast.”
- That he believes “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”
- That he envisions a White House organizational model based on the secret country of Wakanda in Black Panther.
DML: Shame on Trump for giving this absolute ass two seconds of his time. What a total loser West is. Just proves that rappers are crappers from the mouth.
3- Dr Phil slammed for PPP loan
Fox News reports: Dr. Phil’s production companies got up to $7 million in government aid loans during the pandemic — while his son splashed out on a $10 million Beverly Hills, Calif., mansion, Page Six has learned.
According to newly released documents, Dr. Phil’s production companies received up to $7 million from the paycheck protection program, the massive federal plan designed to help small businesses ride out the financial crisis caused by the coronavirus.
Stage 29 Productions, run by Phil McGraw and his son Jay McGraw, got a loan valued at between $1 million and $2 million. The company makes programs, including Dr. Phil’s eponymous talk show and “DailyMailTV,” and was on a list of recipients disclosed on Monday by the Small Business Administration.
DML: And to think I couldn’t get the PPP loan because the funds ran out.
4-Anti-Trump book debunked
President Trump’s niece Mary L. Trump alleges in her new tell-all book that her uncle paid a friend to take a college admissions test more than 50 years ago so he could gain acceptance into the elite Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. However, a new video from the wife of the now-deceased friend tells a very different story.
“To hedge his bets he enlisted Joe Shapiro, a smart kid with a reputation for being a good test taker to take his SATs for him,” Mary Trump wrote in her book. “That was much easier to pull on in the days before photo IDS and computerized records. Donald, who never lacked for funds, paid his buddy well.”
But in her video message, Pam Shriver said her late husband met Trump after he was already enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania.
DML: Exactly. But even if it’s true that Trump paid someone to take his SATs, does it matter? Much like his tax records what does this information do to improve or hurt the USA. I have never seen the country so screwed up over nonsense. I really hate the media.
5-Trump rally blamed for virus surge
President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Tulsa in late June that drew thousands of participants and large protests “likely contributed” to a dramatic surge in new coronavirus cases, Tulsa City-County Health Department Director Dr. Bruce Dart said Wednesday.
Tulsa County reported 261 confirmed new cases on Monday, a one-day record high, and another 206 cases on Tuesday. By comparison, during the week before the June 20 Trump rally, there were 76 cases on Monday and 96 on Tuesday.
Although the health department’s policy is to not publicly identify individual settings where people may have contracted the virus, Dart said those large gatherings “more than likely” contributed to the spike.
DML: But the BLACK LIVES MATTER rallies (riots) didn’t do a thing to help spike cases? My God, please help us, we have absolute morons in charge of just about everything. A reason why the numbers are going up is because every person now entering a hospital, for whatever reason, is being tested. How about giving us the death rate instead? Or better yet, how about listening to doctors who talk about building the immune system instead and lets end this nonsense mask parade.
