An awkward on-camera scene unfolded between the recently engaged co-hosts of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Monday as they appeared to be addressing a relationship issue during the broadcast.
“How are you doing this morning, Mika? Do you feel good? Are you happy?” Joe Scarborough asked his fiancée Mika Brzezinski.
Mika replied, “I think there’s different standards for different people, but we’ll get there.”
“What do you mean different standards for different people, what are you talking about?” Scarborough asked.
“Uh, nothing,” Brzezinski said in a brush-off.
“What do you mean different standards for different people,” Scarborough asked.
“It’s fine,” Brzezinski replied. “I’ll point it out in real time.”
Scarborough faced the camera and said, “What are you talking about? I don’t know what she’s talking about.”
