FLORIDA — Kathleen Regina Davis is facing a felony charge after she allegedly tried to run over her daughter’s husband, according to an arrest report. Using her Mercedes-Benz, Davis tried to hit her 33-year old son-in-law because he ruined her relationship with her daughter, evidently by confessing to an affair he’d had with the mother.
Davis, 58, from Jupiter, FL, admitted to Palm Beach Gardens police she had an affair with her son-in-law during the time that he was in a relationship with her daughter. Davis said the man was responsible for ruining her relationship with her daughter, telling her of the encounter.
On Sep. 20, Davis went to the man’s house where she allegedly tossed several eggs at his residence and vehicles parked in front of the house. Police arrived to find Davis driving in circles in the front yard of the house, attempting to strike the man with her Mercedes, nearly hitting him “several times,” according to WFTL.
According to police reports, Davis proceeded to do donuts in front of the man’s house while police watched before she was taken into custody.
Davis reportedly told officers she wanted to run the man over and wanted him to die.
The man and Davis’s daughter are currently separated, according to reports. A public records search revealed the couple is still married but has initiated divorce proceedings.
For her angry display and threats, Davis now faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, without intent to kill.
She was reportedly released from the Palm Beach County Jail after posting a $3,000 bond on Sep. 22. At this time, it is unknown if she has hired an attorney.
