MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle called out a member of the presidential First Family on Monday, saying she wants President Donald J. Trump’s daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump to speak out about comments attributed to the president.

The president has been widely reported to have called Haiti, El Salvador and African countries “s**thole countries,” a comment he has denied making.

Ruhle has called on Ivanka Trump to speak out on specific issues regarding her father multiple times. Ruhle has especially focused on Ivanka when she wants her to say something in opposition to her father or Republicans as a whole.

“Ivanka Trump, I invite you to stand up and to say something about this now,” Ruhle said in reference to Trump’s alleged “s**thole countries” remark.

The Free Beacon noted other occasions when Ruhle has called out Ivanka:

“Hey Ivanka Trump, mother to mother, you’re looking for a win. It’s right here. Bump stocks,” Ruhle said in the aftermath of the Las Vegas shooting.

“How about now Ivanka. You want to back women, this is your moment,” Ruhle declared, urging Ivanka to denounce Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore.

Ruhle even suggested Ivanka is “complicit” in actions taken by the Trump administration that she appeared to disapprove of.

This was in reference to a tweet, in which Ruhle wrote: “The idea around SNL’s #complicit @IvankaTrump slot made us laugh… but is life immitating art?” She was referencing a Saturday night Live skit which mocked Ivanka Trump.
