Adrian Dwayne Johnson, 29, the suspect in the murder of a Washington, D.C. yoga instructor and part-time actress, has had a lengthy criminal run in 2016. This year alone, Johnson has committed six other crimes besides the suspected sexual assault and strangling of Tricia McCauley on Tuesday.
Johnson’s six other crimes involve alleged thefts or robberies. Recently on December 17, Johnson stole from a CVS and Meridian PCS.
He’s also wanted in two other counties for failure to appear in court in other theft cases. In the December 17 incident, following his arrest, a judge ordered him to wear a GPS monitoring device. Johnson never showed up to receive the device.
In addition, Johnson has previously been court-ordered to undergo multiple mental health screenings and attend drug rehabilitation in past cases. However, due to no evidential records, it’s uncertain if Johnson submitted to any of the screenings or completed the rehab.
