A Muslim immigrant woman, in the USA on a visa, collecting welfare, shows her appreciation.

A Lawrenceville, Georgia woman, Dami Arno, and her daughter were standing in front of their garage Tuesday when a strange woman in a full burqa walked up to the flag flying above their mailbox, yanked it out of its holder and charged, “swinging with all her might”, said Arno.

Arno tried to fight her off, and her 17-year-old daughter jumped in to help, while her 14-year-old son grabbed the family gun.   Even with the threat of a gun, the woman in the burqa wouldn’t stop swinging and hitting.   The family said she never uttered a word during the entire attack.  At one point, the woman even managed to take her shoe off and began hitting other people with it.

Neighbors ran to help and held the woman down until police arrived.  The suspect, first identified as 30-year-old Amina Ali Ahra, was arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery.

“What in the world is going on here? Why am I not safe on my own property why can I not sitting in my garage and not feel like I’m going to be attacked by someone walking down my street with my American flag,” Arno said.

She added that she thought Ahra should face hate crime charges.   “How much plainer could a hate crime be when she rips your American flag off and charges you on your own property. It’s nothing less than a hate crime,” she said.

In an update to her Facebook page today, Arno posted an additional piece of news: “Get this….. her real name is Aisha Ibrahim she has a valid visa and receives assistance!!!!! They found her through her dhs file!!!!!! Now we are paying these people to attack us!!!!! They did add 1 more charge….. giving a false name!!!!!”

In another Facebook message Thursday, Arno posted a quote referencing the incident, that said, “Mister Rogers didn’t adequately prepare me for the people in my neighborhood.”
