Liberal-leaning news outlets are foaming at the mouth about the fact that Julia Hahn, one of former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon’s top aides, is still working in the West Wing, despite reports that she was ousted after Bannon resigned last month.
Hahn is a 26-year-old former writer from Bannon’s site, Breitbart News. Prior to that she was a producer for Laura Ingraham’s radio show.
Earlier this week, a source “familiar with the situation” told Yahoo News that Hahn was staying on in her position as a special assistant to the president and deputy strategist. The liberal-leaning outlet went on to speculate about the woman whom they call a “subject of mystery and intrigue since President Trump took office.”
Stating that Hahn did not respond to multiple requests for comment on the Yahoo story, and that the White House was of no help, either, Yahoo News managed to unearth an anonymous source who told them that, prior to Bannon’s exit, Hahn was working closely with Bannon and another top staffer, Stephen Miller, and focusing on immigration policy. Neither Bannon nor Miller responded to requests for comment on the story, either.
White House correspondent Hunter Walker proceeded to research the White House aide in his efforts to uncover the “secrecy surrounding Hahn and her duties.”
In his report, he calls the conservative-leaning writer’s background as a Beverly Hills Jew “rather unconventional.”
He says her grandfather built a bottling company fortune, her father is a movie producer, and she attended a top private school before attending the University of Chicago.
“Her grandmother is a well-known philanthropist and staunch advocate for gun control and her younger brother has worked in one of Trump’s least favorite fields, journalism, including a stint as an intern at the president’s frequent target, CNN.
None of Hahn’s immediate family or former co-workers responded to requests for comment on this story,” he notes, probably surprised that the woman’s liberal-leaning family members did not sell her out to the press.
Walker was definitely surprised that the “liberal enclaves of Hollywood and academia” could produce a woman who believes that illegally entering the United States constitutes a crime. He seems to forget that those who live and work in the “liberal enclaves” of sanctuary cities such as L.A. and Chicago are also confronted with the sad, dangerous results of unchecked immigration laws on a daily basis. Many are the victims of their crimes, which can range from simple identity theft to murder.
Walker goes on to spout the liberal narrative that Bannon is a “far-right and even white supremacist influence on the White House,” noting how “earlier this year, there was a spate of profiles of Hahn in the Washington Post, the Intercept, and the New Yorker. They variously dubbed Hahn as Bannon’s “right-hand woman,” his “disciple,” and even “Bannon’s Bannon.”
Having written about immigration and trade when she worked for Breitbart put a target on Hahn, according to Yahoo’s report.
The author further blasts Hahn for voicing her concerns when 2016 vice presidential candidate Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) predicted and yearned for the “end of [the] white majority” last year.
In an effort to malign the Trump administration’s crackdown on criminal illegal aliens, Yahoo’s report noted that “some studies have indicated undocumented immigrants commit less crime and, in recent years, as the immigrant population rose, violent and property crime has declined.”
The Yahoo report goes on to conclude that even though Bannon is gone, “Hahn’s presence in the West Wing policy shop” means “it seems clear Bannon’s influence continues inside the building, as well.”
Willing to comment on this story, Dennis Michael Lynch, CEO of DML NEWS, has a history of dealing with Hahn. “The first time I ever heard of her was a few years back. She contacted me to be on Laura Ingraham’s radio show,” said DML. “I liked her right away — she was different than the producers I dealt with on TV and radio. Most producers in the news business are kids …. 20-somethings just fishing headlines…. but Hahn is no kid. She was doing more than just searching for gotcha segments. Hahn actually cared about the material. We spoke on the phone for a while before my hit with Laura. We spoke about the border and the horrible things taking place in Arizona and Texas. She was a pro.”
DML went on to describe Hahn as incredibly intelligent and ultra serious about her work. “When she moved over to Breitbart she reached out to me looking for a few comments about the surge of minors at the border. Then another time, she did a piece with me about the censorship practices taking place on social media platforms. She is super thorough and remarkably sharp. I am not surprised she’s in the White House. She is a rock star who I believe will end up being the next Kelly Anne Conway.”
