Navy Seal who shot bin Laden slams “VA improvements”

Deputy White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tried to explain to reporters that it’s the “constant barrage of fake news directed at this president that has garnered a lot of his frustration,” when a reporter asked why Trump still seems angry in his recent tweets about the false CNN story that was recently retracted after Trump associate Anthony Scaramucci — who was the target of the made-up story — graciously accepted their apology.

“Isn’t their response good enough for the President?” asked the reporter. (See video below)

Huckabee went on to point out that there have been “multiple instances” where CNN has been wrong, before encouraging everyone in the country to take a look at the recently-released video from a Project Veritas sting operation, which exposes the Russian narrative as a hoax pursued by network officials to boost ratings.

“If the media can’t be trusted to report the news, then that’s a dangerous place for America,” stated Huckabee, “particularly for the purpose of spiking ratings.”

She admonished those journalists covering “fake news” stories for not focusing on “actual news”, such as “job growth, deregulation, tax reform, and health care,” and also mentioned “success” at the VA,” sparking outrage from Robert O’Neill, the former Navy SEAL who shot Osama Bin Laden.

O’Neill went off on Huckabee in a Twitter rampage that got downright personal.

“I just heard Sarah Huckabee talk about ‘successes’ at the VA,” he wrote on Twitter. “PLEASE explain and I would LOVE to debate you. VA is a damn insult to vets!!”

O’Neill went on to say that a VA staff member stole his wallet one time when he was getting a CAT scan and noted that as a combat veteran, he has had to pay for much of his own healthcare… a luxury most vets can’t afford.

“I want to invite Sarah Huckabee to go with me to ANY VA to see how awful they are,” he tweeted, viciously adding. “I’m sure daddy got you better healthcare… and that job!” Later on, he walked his comments back, half-heartedly admitting that he was too hard on Huckabee, but he still describes the VA as a “depressing dump.”
