A new survey regarding prospective Democratic candidates for the 2020 presidential race has former Vice President Joe Biden topping the list.
A Morning Consult/Politico poll published Monday revealed that 74 percent of Democrats have a favorable view of Biden. With a favorable rating of 51 percent, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) placed second.
“I have no intention of running for president, but I’m a great respecter of fate,” Biden said on NPR last week.
“I don’t have any plans to do it, but I’m not promising I wouldn’t do it,” he noted.
The poll also included possible contenders Al Franken (Minn.), Cory Booker (N.J.) and Kamala Harris (Calif.), all Democratic Senators.
The poll was conducted from June 8 to 12 and surveyed 895 Democratic voters. It has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
