According to the newest Reuters / IPSOS poll released on Friday,  — Hillary Clinton’s lead over Donald Trump has fallen significantly.

According to the poll, the Democrat’s controversial candidate now holds less than a 3-percentage point lead over the billionaire businessman from New York.   The poll represents a dramatic shift from days earlier when a similar Reuters poll published on Monday showed Hillary enjoying an 8-percentage point lead.

The new poll shows that 42 percent of likely voters favored Clinton, to Trump’s 39 percent.  The poll had a credibility interval of plus or minus 3 percentage points, meaning that the results suggest the race is roughly even.
