A new poll released by the UK’s The Express suggests, “Two thirds (2/3) of British Muslims would not inform the police if they thought that somebody close to them had become involved with terrorist sympathizers.” It goes on to further shock, stating more than 100,000 Muslims in Britain admitted they could “sympathize with suicide bombers and people who commit terrorist acts.”

According to The Express:

“The survey also discovered that more than half of Muslims think that homosexuality should be illegal in Britain and 23%  of Muslims want Sharia to replace British law in certain parts of the country.”

In addition, the study found 39% surveyed agreed that Muslim wives should be obedient to their husbands, 31% accept polygamy and 5% think it’s understandable to stone adulterers.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission is responsible for promoting and enforcing equality and non-discrimination laws in England, Scotland and Wales. Former chairman, Trevor Phillips, commented on study.

“For a long time, I too thought that Europe’s Muslims would become like previous waves of migrants, gradually abandoning their ancestral ways, wearing their religious and cultural baggage lightly, and gradually blending into Britain’s diverse identity landscape,” Phillips said.

He also admitted that the survey revealed “the unacknowledged creation of a nation within the nation, with its own geography, its own values and its own very separate future.”

Critics of the refugee programs that bring Muslims into western society have raised concerns about the group’s desire to assimilate to western culture. Many say that Muslims are opposed to western values, and will ultimately work against the governments of the countries they live in.

Some extreme groups are currently working toward making sharia law part of the U.S. judicial system.

London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan continues to believe that despite repeated attacks against the country by Muslim extremists, including Saturday’s deadly terrorist attack in London, citizens must remain united, saying London “will not be cowed” by terrorism.

Khan used the same phrasing following the Manchester attack less than two weeks ago, saying people trying to harm and divide London’s citizens will not succeed and insisting that London “will never be cowed by terrorism.” Following the Westminster attack in March, Khan had the same message, stating at the time, “we are not going to allow these terrorists to cow us.”

Khan has stated that President Donald Trump’s stance on Islam would result in terrorist attacks on the U.S. However, unfortunately for British citizens, Khan’s policies have not prevented deadly attacks, either.
