According to the Justice Department, police need to be better trained when dealing with transgender people. Therefore, the Justice Department’s Community Relations Service felt compelled to release a new video detailing the proper protocols for situations with transgenders.

The video starts with a cop pulling over a transgender for a broken tail light. He approaches the car, asks the driver for ID, and asks, “Would you prefer I call you Ma’am or Sir?”
