New York woman dies after receiving butt injections

A New York woman has been reported dead just 12 days after receiving silicone butt injections in Manhattan. Latesha Bynum, a mother of two, received the injections from a doctor on July 15 at an apartment on E. 21st Street.

After the alleged procedure, Bynum started to complain of dizziness and chest pains and was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Medical Center. She was later declared brain dead and taken off life support, according to reports.

The family is inconsolably outraged and calling her death a murder. Police are awaiting autopsy results as they continue their investigation.

The 31-year-old mother leaves behind two young daughters.

Reportedly, there are no signs for medical offices at the alleged address where Bynum received the augmenting procedure. The New York State Department of Health said no licensed medical practice is located at that address.
