News Documents Reveal Obama Gave Nearly $10 Billion to One Organization in 2016

According to documents recently posted on the State Department website, Barack Obama gave $9.2 billion of U.S. taxpayer money to the United Nations in his last year as president.

This represents a nearly 20 percent increase when measured against the $7.7 billion given in 2010.

According to Fox News, the $9.2 billion makes up 88 percent of overall U.S. governmental spending on international organizations.

Included in the $9.2 billion is nearly $360 million for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, or UNRWA.

That number marks a 50 percent increase over the $238.3 million UNRWA received from the U.S. in 2010.
