Noah: ‘Sean Hannity will be mayor of San Francisco’

Written by DML

You know it’s a bad time to be a Democrat politician when Trevor Noah, the staunch progressive millennial who hosts the far-left “The Daily Show,” uses Sean Hannity’s name to kick the Democrats in the buttock.

During his show on Tuesday evening, Noah ripped into D.C. Democrats over their huge losing streak.

According to Noah, things are so bad for the Dems right now that if it continues on this pace, Fox News’ biggest conservative and staunch Trump supporter, Sean Hannity, will be elected mayor of San Francisco next year.

“In the past year, they lost the presidency and four special elections … not to mention control of Congress, a dozen governorships, and countless state seats since 2008. Now, that’s momentum,” said Noah. He concluded with the comment about Hannity.

However, Noah couldn’t resist taking a punch at Republicans who passed a do-nothing motion on Tuesday regarding Obamacare. Noah highlighted how the vote on the Senate floor was meaningless. He pointed out that all the vote did was confirm the GOP will continue to discuss healthcare reform. He mocked at the fact that it barely passed — VP Pence was needed to cast the tie-breaking vote.

Noah has a point. The GOP moved forward with discussions, but the chatter went nowhere fast. On Tuesday evening, the GOP-led Senate failed to pass a repeal bill that begins to rip apart Obamacare brick by brick. The final tally was filled with “no” votes, as every Democrat was against the bill and many Republicans also sided against it because it did not offer a replacement bill for two years.

Meanwhile, President Trump was in Ohio just hours earlier telling voters how the first steps toward repealing and replacing Obamacare had been taken earlier in the day, with the vote to continue discussions passing. The president warned GOP lawmakers not to vote against repealing Obamacare on Tuesday night. Apparently, his warning fell on deaf ears.
