Calling the United States an enemy with a population of “murderous ogres”, “robbers”, “air pirates” and “warriors who master the occult arts,” an article that appeared in North Korea’s state-run newspaper on Sunday declared that the White House will soon be destroyed.
In the article, North Korea vowed victory over America, who they say is planning to destroy Pyongyang. In response, North Korea’s military commander threatened the White House, saying it would be “reduced to ashes.” They also condemned President Donald Trump for dispatching a naval fleet to the Korean Peninsula.
“This is a stern warning to the US imperialists and their stooges running amuck for aggression and war moves,” the editorial said, according to The Sun. “The world will clearly witness how the crime-woven history of the US imperialists will be over, how the despicable remaining days of the south Korean puppet forces will come to an end and how national reunification, the cherished desire of the Korean nation, will be achieved.”
North Korea feels that an “indiscriminate preemptive nuclear strike”will make the U.S. “something that cannot come back to life again.”
Terrorism specialist Chris Douglas believes North Korea is capable committing a horror attack on the U.S. and could hide a deadly device, like a nuclear bomb, in a shipping container, thereby delivering the blow to “any port on the planet.”
“A fanatical regime facing extinction wouldn’t think twice about sending a container bearing a nuclear device to the US or an allied country and detonating it,” Mr Douglas said.
North Korean media reports that Kim Jong-un believes his forces are ready for combat with the U.S. following a review of his military’s new battle plans.
