Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters (Calif.), during a Friday appearance on The View, admitted her primary goal in Congress is to get President Donald Trump impeached.
When asked by the all-ladies panel if she had any plans to run for president in 2020, the outspoken Waters declared, “I am not running for anything except the impeachment of Trump!”
Waters’ rhetoric against Trump has increasingly become more biased, subjective and outright concerning. She has been aggressively collecting crowds to chant “impeach 45” and “lock him up” statements at her campaign events. Last month in New Hampshire, Waters warned Trump that Democrats are “organizing” and coming together to take him down.
“Mr. President, we are organizing. And we are organizing to bring you down. And bring your agenda down,” Waters declared to Granite State Democrats at a fundraiser.
In New Orleans recently, Waters told an audience at the Essence Festival she has “taken off the gloves” to fight Trump.
To top it all off, Waters labeled Trump as the most “deplorable” person she has met and even vowed to target Vice President Mike Pence after she succeeds in getting Trump impeached.
In regards to possible presidential ambitions, Waters jokingly claimed she may run for president if the millennials wanted her to do it. Her appearance on The View firmly squashes those rumors.
Pro-Trump Republican Omar Navarro is challenging Waters and has been actively calling out Waters on her ridiculousness.
