Obama is actually complaining that the political electoral system is RIGGED.
According to Breitbart, Obama, at a press conference in Peru, complained that Republicans took advantage of “political gerrymandering” after winning wide majorities that helped them lock in a majority in Congress.
Obama lamented, “More votes have been cast for Democratic congressional candidates than Republican, and yet you end up having large Republican majorities.”
Obama continued his speech in front of an audience of foreigners in Peru, “As long as Wyoming gets the same number of senators as California, there’s going to be some tilt towards Republicans when it comes to congressional races,” he explained, pointing out that most Democratic voters were “bunched up in big cities.”
Obama must have realized he was overly complaining about the rules and backed off his rhetoric a bit by stating that, “the electoral system has “structural problems” that the Democratic party has to accept. You can’t make excuses about the rules. That’s the deal and we got to do better.”
Obama must have forgotten how he chastised and condemned Trump for complaining that the system was rigged.
