NSA leaker thinks her ‘cute’ looks and ‘white’ skin will let her go free

Reality Leigh Winner, the 25-year-old federal contractor who was arrested recently for leaking classified national defense information, has told her family how she intends to get off the hook.

Federal prosecutors have relayed that, in recorded calls to her mother from jail, Winner instructed her mother to portray her side of the story as being “scared she’d disappear from an interrogation room” during a raid of her August home on Saturday.

Indeed, when reporter Nicole Carr of Channel 2 visited the home, Winner’s parents invited Carr to see the “interrogation” room.  “This is where they held her when they did the search of the house and this is where they interrogated her,” Winner’s mother, Billie-Winner Davis, told Carr.

Also, in a phone call to her sister, Winner relayed how she intended to play up to the judge during her bond hearing.

“I’m pretty, white and cute,” prosecutors said Winner told her sister, adding that she would braid her hair and cry in court.

Instead, during her court appearance Thursday, she was led in with her hair pulled back tight in a bun on her head.  She entered a “not guilty” plea, and the judge denied bond, sending her straight back to jail.

Prosecutors also alleged that Winner had told family members to transfer $30,000 out of her account, into her mother’s account, so she would qualify for a court-appointed attorney.

Friends have started a GoFundMe page for Winner, to help her get through the “traumatic experience”, and Rosi O’Donnell has donated $1,000 to the fund and promoted it on her own Twitter page.

Also revealed at the bond hearing was that Winner had written in a notebook that she wanted to burn down the White House and “find somewhere in Kurdistan to live.”
