Obama Brings Presidential Lectern On Campaign For Hillary

President Obama has joined Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail, and it comes with benefits – Air Force One, and the official presidential lectern.

Tuesday, FBI Director James Comey outlined the extremely careless manner in which Secretary Hillary Clinton handled top secret and classified information, but declined to press charges against her.

Later that day, she boarded Air Force One with President Obama and flew to a campaign event in North Carolina.   Reportedly, use of the presidential aircraft is $180,000 per hour, paid for by American taxpayers.

It has been noted that when Obama ran for reelection in 2012, he did not use the presidential seal at most events – but it was brought along for this occasion, and used, both for when Obama spoke, and when candidate Hillary Clinton spoke.

CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller points out the incident:

Knoller questions the legality of Clinton even speaking from the lectern.

Air Force One (747) cost revised downward. @usairforce says it’s now $180,118/hour, down from $206,337/hr last year. Not yet a bargain.
