Obama’s Final White House Tweet

The White House sent out this last tweet from President Obama:

“Yes we can. Yes we did. Thank you for being a part of the past eight years,” read the tweet, with a past photo of the Obamas leading thousands of marchers in Selma, Ala., in 2015.

Obama sent out his own final goodbye from his Twitter account earlier Friday morning.

“It’s been the honor of my life to serve you. You made me a better leader and a better man,” Obama tweeted. “I won’t stop; I’ll be right there with you as a citizen, inspired by your voices of truth and justice, good humor, and love.”
