Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and their three children will be moving into a home that is two blocks away from where the Obamas will live once they leave the White House.
William Moody, a co-owner of Washington Fine Properties, told the Washingtonian that Ivanka has finalized a deal on a home in the Kalorama neighborhood, but he would not disclose which property.
The house they are expected to live in was sold on December 22 for $5.5 million and is located at 2449 Tracy Place.
It is not yet known if the six-bedroom, 6,870-square-foot house was purchased by Ivanka and Kushner, nor if it will be rented by them from the person who bought it.
Ivanka is expected to play a large role in the president-elect’s administration; the home’s close proximity to the White House means Ivanka will only be a quick drive away from her father.
