OSU Staff Member Wants Sympathy For Terrorist Attacker

Stephanie Clemons Thompson, the Assistant Director of Residential Life at Ohio State University urged her friends on Facebook to have sympathy for Abdul Razak Ali Artan, the Somali refugee who rammed his car into a crowd of people and then attacked them with a butcher knife.

In her post that can be seen below, Thomson called the murderer “a Buckeye, member of our family” and asked her friends on Facebook not to “celebrate his death” but instead “think of the pain he must have been in to feel that his actions were the only solution.”

Thompson is asking for sympathy for a terrorist, who prior to the attack wrote on Facebook “I can’t take it anymore. America! Stop interfering with other countries, especially the Muslim Ummah. We are not weak. We are not weak, remember that,” according to ABC News. “We will not let you sleep unless you give peace to the Muslims,” he stated.

Artan’s full Facebook post can be seen Here.
