Palestinian mother praises son in terror attack on Jewish family (video & photos)

A Jewish family was brutally slaughtered Friday, when a 19-year-old Palestianian man broke into their home, stabbed three people to death and wounded a fourth.

After the massacre, the attacker’s mother appeared in a video, saying how proud she was of her son’s actions.

The Salomon family were in the midst of a Shabbat dinner to celebrate the birth of their grandchild earlier that morning, when Omar al-Abed burst through the door with a large knife and began wacking away at the family.

Reportedly, the grandfather, Yosef Salomon, 70, his son Elad Salomon, 36, and his daughter Chaya Salomon, 46, were all killed.  The grandmother, Tova Salomon, 68, was critically injured as well.

As the attack proceeded, Elad’s wife, Michal, managed to get her children into a back room, locked the door, screamed for help, and called the police.

A neighbor heard her screams and shot the terrorist through the window, mildly wounding him. Al-Abed reportedly still tried to attack medical personnel as they responded to help the family. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of his wounds, then released to security for questioning Saturday.

Below is the video of Al-Abed’s mother, praising her son for the slaughter of the Jewish family:

Celebrations broke out in the streets of Gaza after news of the massacre spread, and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh reportedly placed a phone call to the father of the terrorist, telling him, “Your son brought pride to the nation.”

The killer had posted the following message on Facebook prior to launching the attack, stating, “I only have a knife, where are the others who had guns to use only at weddings? I ask my family to forgive me, I know I will not return and I will go to heaven. Put in my grave Arafat’s keffiyeh and the Ribbon of Al-Aqsa Brigades.”

Much to his disappointment, the killer did not go to heaven after all.
