Palin on campaign trail for Moore

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is back on the campaign trail, this time vouching for Judge Roy Moore as he makes his bid for one of Alabama’s seats in the US Senate.

Grassroots activist-organization Great America Alliance, a group that bolstered President Trump’s agenda during the 2016 presidential election, will be putting on the event featuring Palin, as part of a bus tour promoting Moore.

Senior advisers to Great America Alliance include none other than former Trump White House aide Andy Surabian and once-again Breitbart News executive chairman Stephen K. Bannon. Along with third leader Eric Breach, the group has raised millions for conservative causes in battleground states supporting President Trump’s successful White House bid against Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Moore is set to face off against Luther Strange, who was backed by Trump earlier this year, in a special election for the Senate seat vacated by now Attorney General Jeff Sessions, in what appears to be a proxy war between Trump and his former head of strategic operations, Bannon.

Breitbart does note, however, that Trump has no plans to hit the campaign trail for Strange and only backed him in the first round of voting because he wanted to stop Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) from getting into the Senate. Moore holds a commanding 14 to 15-point lead over Strange in current polling, a fact Breitbart points out Trump was made aware of and did nothing about.

Furthermore, Strange has associations with anti-Trump activists connected to Karl Rove. He has been discovered to be working for Rove’s ex-chief of staff; the Senate Leadership Fund, an organization associated with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, is run by Rove acolyte Steven Law.

The group was caught editing videos to falsely attack Moore and other conservative candidates.
