California Democrat Nancy Pelosi has won re-election in the House of Representatives as the House minority leader.
The vote by secret ballot Wednesday gave Pelosi 134 votes, and 63 votes to her challenger, Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan.
This is reported to be the toughest competition she has ever faced in trying to hold on to her position.
Pelosi, 76, has remained in the top leadership role for the Democrats since 2003. When Democrats gained control of the House in 2006, she became the first female speaker of the House.

Nancy Pelosi hasn’t led House Dems to a victory since 2008 and she keeps her job.
This is why Washington doesn’t work.
