Vice President Mike Pence delivered remarks at the 13th Naional Catholic Prayer Breakfast Tuesday morning.

Pence acknowledged the recent terror attacks, and promised, “This bloodshed will end.”

He called out the brutal regime of ISIS, and spoke of the persecution that Christians are enduring in the Middle East.

He encouraged the audience to bow their heads, bend their knees and pray, every day. “Pray more for whether we are on God’s side, and not whether God is on our side,” he told them.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, God will heal this land,” Pence said.
