In another shocking video, a top Planned Parenthood executive has been caught negotiating prices for baby body parts harvested from abortions.
The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released the never-before-seen video on Wednesday. In it, Mary Gatter, president of the medical directors’ council at the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, is seen discussing price points for fetal tissue.
When an undercover journalist offers $50 per specimen, Gatter says the offer is “on the low end,” and quips, “$50 was, like, 12 years ago.”
Gatter was also featured in a previous undercover video, joking that she wanted to make a deal that would allow her to buy a Lamborghini with the fetal tissue profits.
In the new video, Gatter asks, “What kind of volume do you need and what gestational ages?” She explains that aborted babies up to 16 weeks gestation could be available for purchase.
At the end of the video, a message is displayed reading, “Tell President Trump to hold Planned Parenthood accountable for their illegal sale of baby body parts.”
In a statement, CMP project lead David Daleiden said, “The volume-based sums that Planned Parenthood charged these businesses for baby parts are criminal trafficking and profiteering in fetal body parts.”
He wants the U.S. Department of Justice to pay attention to congressional criminal referrals. “Prosecute Planned Parenthood to the full extent of the law, and taxpayers must stop being forced to subsidize Planned Parenthood’s criminal abortion empire,” he writes.
Republicans are currently attempting to direct nearly $500 million away from Planned Parenthood’s annual budget and put it towards clinics that don’t perform and profit from abortions.
