Paris’ Gare du Nord train station was the source of yet another horrific frenzy as a man with a knife was arrested by police Saturday.

Upon seeing the man walking around the train station with a knife, commuters panicked in fear, dropped thier luggage and ran. Police abruptly tackled the man to the ground and placed him under arrest.

According to a French television station, the suspect said he was armed with a knife “because he was afraid for his life.” A spokesman for the French police said the suspect was hardly “threatening” and “when the gendarmes ordered him to lie down, he immediately did so.”

The spokesman also said that no victims were reported in the incident, though his presence created quite a stir.

However, Saturday’s events arise merely days after French policeman Xavier Juegele was shot in the head and killed by ISIS sympathizer Karim Cheurfi. The 39-year-old terrorist also wounded two other officers, though both victims are on the road to recovery. Cheurfi was found with a note detailing his ISIS loyalties, as the Islamic State took responsibility for the terror in Paris.
