Poll: 43 percent approve of Trump, Pelosi not so much

NBC/Wall Street Journal released a new poll that shows 43 percent of the public views President Donald Trump positively or somewhat positively.

The same poll shows House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has a net rating of negative 25 percent while Trump has a net rating of negative 4 percent.

Pelosi is viewed 6 times more negatively than Trump, according to the poll.

Of that group, 43 percent identified as Democrat while 35 percent identified as Republican or leaning Republican.

As for the state of the country, 44 percent approve of President Trump’s performance and 29 percent approve of the Congress.

The survey, which had a 3.1 percent margin of error, asked 13 questions to 1,000 people.

The President and the Congresswoman have battled back and forth on Twitter, and Pelosi is constantly slamming Trump in her frequent media interviews and press conferences.

Pelosi claims Trump’s claims of the situation on the border are “bogus.”
