Over the weekend, protesters gathered in Houston, TX to protect a monument marked for removal. A crowd of more than a hundred people demanded that the statue of Sam Houston remain intact, and that there was no reason to be erasing history.

Last month in New Orleans, the local government removed a series of monuments because they reflected “a dark period” in American history.

The removal of monuments and the dismissing of the Confederate flag appears to be a trend sweeping through the United States.

We ask you today: do you agree with the removal of these monuments, or is it another case of America exercising political correctness?
