On behalf of TEAM DML, we wish every mom the very best Mother’s Day.

In terms of picking a poll, I wanted to put politics and news to the side and make room for LOVE.

I believe we all want to be loved, and we all want our love to be felt.  That said, some people will say there is no greater love than that of a mother’s love.

In our home, Miss Mary’s love is the fuel that powers us all.  I watch her love seep into my kids each and every day. The love she provides will help shape our children into wonderful adults.  I know this because my mother’s love helped shape me into the person, and the father, I am today.

Unfortunately, not everyone is as fortunate as my children, or yours truly.  Miss Mary’s mother died when she was just 5 years old.  I also have a friend who hasn’t seen his mother since the age of 12 — she just took off.  And so, as sad as it is, there are people who do not have the benefit of a mother’s love.

That said, I ask you to think deep.  Whether your mother is in your life today or not, how big of a role did she play in making you who you are today?
