Last week it was the conservative sensation, Steve Bannon who left the White House over concerns of the new direction of the Trump administration. Today, Sebastian Gorka is now gone citing similar concerns.
As DML NEWS reported early Saturday morning, the feisty Deputy Assistant to the President submitted what reads like a resignation letter to the president late Friday.
It’s a bit confusing on whether Gorka resigned or was fired, but either way, his letter to the president is blunt and to the point — he isn’t happy with the direction of the Trump administration. You can read excerpts of the letter by clicking here.
One part of the letter which stands out, is this sentence: “Regrettably, outside of yourself, the individuals who most embodied and represented the policies that will ‘Make America Great Again,’ have been internally countered, systematically removed, or undermined in recent months.”
Since leaving the White House, Bannon has made similar statements, going as far as saying the Trump presidency will not be what it was designed to be.
With two of the top conservatives out of the White House, slowly but surely it appears as if Trump is left surrounded by retired generals, DC elitists, Wall Street tycoons, and his liberal relatives Ivanka and Kushner. Only Dr. Ben Carson, who is tucked away working at HUD, is a true conservative who can be deemed a DC outsider.
When combining the departure of Gorka and Bannon with the huge blockade that exists between Trump and congressional leaders, do you find yourself concerned over the direction of the Trump administration?
