Sean Spicer resigned on Friday from his role as White House Press Secretary.
Filling Spicer’s role is Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who in the past said she did not want the press secretary job. How long will she last in a tough hitting position she insisted she did not want? That’s the question buzzing around DC.
Another big move Friday was the hiring of Anthony Scaramucci as communications director. The former Wall Street hedge fund entrepreneur will spearhead the role of getting the president’s message out to the public.
Scaramucci has a background that represents a liberal ideology. He’s been a gun control-supporting, global warming-backing, Obama-donating Wall Street millionaire who once called Trump a political hack. Although he has apologized for his name calling of Trump, Scarmucci’s left leaning ways have raised eyebrows with conservatives such as Dana Loesch and Ben Shapiro.
Scaramucci has been rooting for Trump for more than a year, and he took a big stand for President Trump on television and ripped CNN for fake news, ultimately forcing them to retract a story about Russia collusion.
So in one hand we have a liberal leaning Wall Street insider, and in the other hand we have a slick dressed New Yorker who claims he “loves” the president and has proven to fight for him on TV.
