On Friday, the Trump administration announced the roll-back of former first lady Michelle Obama’s infamous school lunch program, which included dietary requirements that many students voiced strong objections to.

“Schools and school districts continue to tell us that there is still too much food waste and that more common-sense flexibility is needed to provide students nutritious and appetizing meals. We listened and now we’re getting to work,” Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue said while announcing the new changes on Friday.

The announcement came on Michelle Obama’s 56th birthday, which caused her supporters to react in outrage.

“There are a lot of things to be frustrated about in the world, but I’m definitely furious the Administration decided to announce proposed rules to further roll back Michelle Obama’s signature achievements around school lunch *on her birthday*,” one Twitter user declared.
