Saturday marked the one-year anniversary of President Trump’s inauguration, when he became the 45th President of the United States of America, winning on the campaign promise to “Make America Great Again.”

Trump frequently lists achievements he has made in office, even as the left continues to call for impeachment, and his predecessor, Barack Obama, and his defeated opponent, Hillary Clinton, encourage their followers to keep up the resistance.

In an opinion editorial the president wrote and published in the Washington Examiner on Saturday, he stated:

Even as Democrats continue to obstruct and play politics, I have never stopped fighting for the people, and I have no intention of changing course. I promised Jan. 20, 2017, would be remembered as a new day for all Americans – the day the people became the rulers of this nation once again.

For the past 365 days, that promise has been my guide.
