POLL: Is Facebook’s treatment of conservatives unfair and unethical?

Dennis Michael Lynch has been battling with Facebook for years. He has recorded the battle along the way.

He has phone calls recorded with Facebook representatives admitting the company deletes posts for no reason, blaming it on “glitches.”

There is an email exchange between DML and a FB representative where the rep is pestering Lynch by making him send his driver’s license to prove his identity. The rep made DML send the photo numerous times, claiming the picture was not clear. Meanwhile, the photo of the license was crystal clear and thus, it was the FB rep’s way of taunting him, claims Lynch.

DML has had his page-likes disappear by the thousands in one day, on more than one occasion. After screenshots were taken and complaints were made, Facebook returned the page-likes.

For more than a year, DML’s account was not given the link to perform a Facebook LIVE video. In order to fix the problem, FB required DML to get a laundry list of documentation requiring a notary. DML would agree to the terms given him. Finally, the ability to go LIVE was granted.

DML tried promoting the I STAND FOR MY FLAG effort, but Facebook turned down the proposed ad, claiming the link led to an unpleasant experience for people. However, the link led to the same website DML’s been using on Facebook for three years. In response, DML removed all the 3rd-party ads from the landing page and reapplied. FB continued to deny the promotion for the same reason.

DML was being harassed by an anonymous account tied to a person with a history of launching fake accounts. DML complained to FB and demanded the page be removed, as his family was put in danger. FB denied the request. DML had to threaten legal action — the page was then removed by the user, not FB.

DML’s account loses more page-likes on a daily basis than it receives. The problem with this is, other pages like his are all growing. DML enquires about this constantly but gets no response. It continues to happen, despite sending screenshots from DML fans to Facebook that show the page being unliked mysteriously.

DML has emails from a representative who was downright rude and led him to “help” pages that no longer exist.

The list goes on and on. Now, it’s all capped off by Facebook locking DML out of his account for no reason. Is it a coincidence that the lockout happened a day after DML asked his readers to email Facebook and complain about the treatment they receive when trying to access his content? Is it a coincidence, considering the popularity of “The Truth?” Ever since DML returned from being sick and launched his new studio, “The Truth” has consistently been the most popular LIVE show on Facebook. DML’s “The Truth” grabs more viewers each day than any other daily political show airing on FB.

Either way, although the case between DML and FB exceeds most cases where conservatives complain, we know that many conservatives feel the company is biased. Therefore, today we ask you this: Does Facebook treat conservatives unfairly, and if so, is it unethical?
