In a poll we ran earlier this week, just 38% of people answered “No” when asked if they would lose confidence in the president if he continued to push the GOP’s healthcare bill. About 33% said they would lose confidence, and the remaining 28% said they remained uncertain.
The president not only continued to push the bill this week but warned GOP holdouts that they’d likely lose their House seats in the mid-term elections if they voted against the replacement for Obamacare. As it turned out, there was no vote in the House because Rep. Ryan could not drum up the 216 supporters required.
