Some of the hate signs at the ‘Unite the Right’ rally were downright horrible. Some people were seen wearing pro-Hitler t-shirts, nazi swastika flags were present, and one hater mowed down people with his car, leaving a lady dead. Overall, it was unacceptable, un-American, and an unnecessary loss of life.
The media has held wall-to-wall coverage, understandably. But are they covering it all fairly? This is the question we ask you today in our poll.
Before answering, we want you to consider a few things:
1. Some people in the media are blaming the event on President Trump because of his hard stance on border security and enforcement of immigration laws. The rally yesterday had nothing to do with immigration.
2. There were aggressors, instigators, and haters from the Left who were just as violent as the people wearing nazi gear.
3. “Trump supporters” are being grouped in with racists groups who took part in the event. The term “Alt right” continues to be used to describe the people who follow folks like David Duke, the former KKK leader. Duke said the events on Saturday were part of carrying out Trump’s agenda.
4. Throughout 2015 and 2016 ,the media never blamed Obama for the riots that took place at Trump rallies.
