Poll releases results of hypothetical election between Trump and Oprah

Zogby Analytics conducted an online survey last week which asked about a fictitious election between President Trump and Oprah Winfrey.

Results of the poll indicated that Winfrey would win handily.

“In a fantasy election, the mogul and former queen of daytime television defeats President Trump among American workers, 46% to 36%, with 18% not sure,” according to Zogby.

“Oprah wins a majority or plurality among almost every sub-group, including Democratic stalwarts, such as younger voters (18-24 years old-55%), African Americans (76%), Hispanics (58%), Asians (53%), and women (54%),” revealed the survey.

Respondents from the two groups who helped Donald Trump the most in his pursuit of the presidency –Independents (41%) and workers with no college degree (42%) — even supported Winfrey over Trump.

“Every income group supports Oprah over Trump,” said Zogby, noting that “Workers earning <25k annually are the biggest Oprah supporters among income sub-groups (55%).”

The survey showed that Trump “does best with older voters aged 65+ (53%), rural voters (51%), married voters (43%), white voters (43%) and men (43%).”
