In a Fox News interview on Monday, Judge Napolitano encouraged Attorney General Jeff Sessions not to testify in front of the Senate on Tuesday regarding the Russia collusion probe. You can watch the interview by clicking here, but in short, the judge said there is no upside for Session.
When asked why someone as smart as Sessions would be placing himself in that position, the judge said, “He may have been asked to do it by his boss.” In other words, President Trump may have asked Sessions to testify. But as the judge points out, Sessions may find himself in a position where he has to choose between defending himself or defending the president.
