Nikolas Cruz killed 17 people on Valentines Day when he took an AR-15 into his former high school in Parkland, Florida and began shooting.
For the past 12-days, new information about the shooting continues to haunt the parents who lost their children in the massacre. Cruz, and his long history of trouble continues to tie back to how the local sheriff’s department missed the warning signs about the deranged shooter.
Adding to the pain for parents, is the fact that at least one deputy decided not to enter the building while Cruz was shooting his victims.
As DML News reported Monday, there is growing pressure for Florida Gov. Rick Scott to remove Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel over his department’s response to the Parkland massacre.
