Poll Shows How Americans Feel About Media v. Trump


According to a poll released today by the Wall Street Journal and NBC News, 51% of Americans believe the media has taken too hard of a stance against President Donald Trump, with 41% maintaining the media has been fair in its reporting.

Up 22% since July, 40% of Americans also approve of the direction the country appears to be headed.

The poll also revealed that 47% of Americans view Trump unfavorably, compared to 43% who see him favorably.

Furthermore, 48% disapprove of his work so far as president, while 44% believe his time as Commander-in-Chief has been acceptable.


Conducted over the phone, the WSJ/NBC News survey polled 1000 American adults over a four-day span between Feb. 18 to Feb. 22. The poll has an error margin of 3.1 percentage points.
