President Trump put forward a revised temporary travel ban yesterday. The new executive order replaces the first one put out on Jan. 27. The first temporary ban was shut down by the courts, as you probably recall.
The new order is a lighter version than the first. It does not restrict people with green cards, and it places only a 120-day ban on Syrian refugees, instead of the indefinite ban outlined in the original order.
The biggest change is that Iraq, despite being loaded with ISIS militants, is no longer on the list of countries subject to the temporary ban.
