President Trump held a last minute, unscheduled press conference in the East Room of the White House Thursday afternoon. He spent much of the 90-minute conference sparring with reporters and confronting their prejudices against him.
The president refused to take questions from specific mainstream reporters, causing some to yell questions out to him in raucous fashion.
“The press — the public doesn’t believe you people anymore. Now, maybe I had something to do with that. I don’t know. But they don’t believe you,” Trump charged.
While many in the media were left shaking their heads in disbelief, even suggesting that the American public isn’t getting the vital information it needs, others were impressed.
Thank you for all of the nice statements on the Press Conference yesterday. Rush Limbaugh said one of greatest ever. Fake media not happy!
