The White House is assuming responsibility for January’s impressive jobs report which was released on Friday, declaring that businesses feel an increased sense of optimism and confidence following Donald Trump’s election nearly three months ago.

Friday’s report was the first released since Trump took office, and analysts and pundits on both sides of the political aisle were quick to weigh in as to which president was to be credited with the statistics, incoming President Trump or outgoing President Obama.
